The popularity of vocational schools and other two-year programs is on the rise, and so are jobs that are willing to train candidates. Employers are shifting their focus to those with the right skills rather than the right degree. Here are some jobs that pay well, are in demand and aren’t concerned if you don’t have a four-year degree.

An installer does exactly what it sounds like, install things. You could install technical equipment in office complexes or building materials like windows or HVAC elements. This is a great job if you are computer savvy and enjoy helping others. Some businesses will expect you to earn a certification or take a computer class before you start work. Others will train you themselves. Find a company with a good training program and opportunity for growth.
